I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st Street on the 11th floor. My name is Jason Leger. I’m 39 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I used to pray about it, but for the past eight years or so, I've stopped talking.  After I removed prayer, I was left to contend with finding the meaning in life I never thought existed. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. My mother was shunned by the church for having me, but my grandparents remained faithful and raised me immersed in Southern Baptist culture. I ultimately wanted to be a pastor of some sort well into my 20's, but the more I learned, the less it all made sense. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. God simply is not there.

In Central Pensacola, born and raised 
On the church pew is where I spent most of my days. 
Showin’ out, laughin', actin’ a fool, 
Even got ice cold dunked in the baptism pool. 

Then all of my friends who were up to no good, 
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood. 
I got seven little felonies and the court got scared, 
They said "You're going to Teen Challenge, this bus will take you there." 

I wrestled with the lord, and there was lots of fear,
The revival was fresh, and I had ears to hear,
If anything I could feel that god wasn’t there,
But I thought, “Maybe he is, I’ll just wait a few years”

I. Quit. Believing that shit about 2008,
and I yelled to sky daddy, “Yo homes, smell ya later.”
Looked at the Earth, and I shed a happy tear, 
It was hellish up there, but now it’s heaven down here.
